Lee Hogan-Knott
With a core interest in crafting sovereign, embodied, systemic empowerment through ecological truths, Lee's 25 years of academia researching the intersections of experiential/somatic intersections of epistemology (how we know what we know), environmental science, systems theory, theoretical physics, theology, pedagogy, history, somatic integration, oppression dynamics, and indigenous knowledge, allows her to bring a wealth of integrated wisdom to the table. Coupled with her experience as a doula for 15 years, a Traditional Ecological Knowledge practitioner for 20, and an integrative movement therapist/eco-therapist for 8, Lee is an invaluable resource for LYLC members.
Committed to heart led curiosity and systemic change in collaboration with our ecology, she's created a healing modality called Embodied Ecological Liberation, a place based freedom school as an alternative to conventional educational and health systems, advised alternative education programs in indigenous communities, rural and urban settings, and within public school systems.

Amber Wright
Alighten came to Amber through divine inspiration in 2018. After many years of studying business development processes, accounting, personal finance and investment vehicles, Alighten became a ministry in 2021. Operating as a Private Member Association in this way allows us the freedom to follow our hearts fully to do God's work.
Alongside the Alighten Ministries team, she's developed this 12 step Launch Your Learning Centre program to run under the private domain. With a database of templates and administrator processes addressing practical and spiritual perspectives, in addition to supporting community centered education, Alighten Ministries is also a network of holistic healthcare practitioners offering healing workshops, ceremonies, and our yearly summer festival. She is passionate about collaborating with other PMA's and believes this is one of the many steps to creating our holistic future. Amber uses the artist tag @amberlightlife across social media.

We offer the support of peers and community in creating a learning center, learning pod, or homeschool co-op which can provide the freedom, sustainability, and collaboration to raise wholesome, knowledgeable children. Our online course walks you through the practical steps of bringing your initiative to life, along with the psychological and spiritual aspects of personal growth, and collaborative environment to explore the dynamism which comes with operating a learning center. Our approach provides a model for you to follow for setting up your learning center in ways that fit your community and your faith.
